AquaFix ("we", "our", "the app") is an underwater color correction application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

Data We Collect

Photos and videos you select. When you use AquaFix to correct an image or video, the media is processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or access your photos or videos on any server.

Analytics. We may collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g. which features are used, app version, device type) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Crash reports. If the app crashes, anonymous diagnostic information may be sent to help us fix bugs. No personal data or media content is included in crash reports.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiers.
We do not access your camera, microphone, or location.
We do not upload your photos or videos to any server.
We do not sell, share, or monetize any user data.

Data Retention

We retain no user data. All media processing occurs on your device and no copies are transmitted or stored externally. Anonymous analytics and crash report data are retained only in aggregate form and cannot be linked to individual users.

On-Device Processing

All color correction, ML model inference, and media export happen locally on your device. ML models are downloaded once and cached locally; no image data is sent to external services during processing.

Third-Party Services

AquaFix may use platform-provided services (Google Play Services on Android, Apple frameworks on iOS) for app distribution and anonymous analytics. These services have their own privacy policies.

GDPR and CCPA

AquaFix does not collect, store, or process personal data as defined by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since no personal data is collected, there is no data to access, correct, delete, or port. If you believe we hold any of your data in error, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.

Children's Privacy

AquaFix does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
