By using AquaFix ("the app"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use of the App

AquaFix is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app to correct colors in your own photos and videos. You retain full ownership of all media you process with the app.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
Use the app to process media you do not have the right to use.
Redistribute the app or its components outside of official app store channels.

In-App Purchases

AquaFix offers an optional "AquaFix Pro" upgrade as a one-time in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and are subject to that store's terms of service and refund policies. We do not process payments directly. For refund requests, please contact the app store through which you made your purchase.

Intellectual Property

The app, including its code, design, ML models, and algorithms, is the intellectual property of AquaFix and its contributors. Your right to use the app does not grant ownership of any part of it.

You retain all rights to your own photos and videos. AquaFix does not claim any ownership or license over media you process.

Disclaimer of Warranties

AquaFix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Color correction results will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
The app will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AquaFix and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or media corruption.

ML Models and Open-Source Acknowledgments

The app uses machine learning models for enhanced color correction. These models are downloaded to your device and run locally. Model outputs are approximations and may not perfectly represent original scene colors.

AquaFix incorporates the following open-source models, both licensed under the MIT License:

Shallow-UWnet — A shallow neural network for underwater image enhancement.
FUnIE-GAN — Fast underwater image enhancement using a generative adversarial network.

Full license texts are available in the app's source distribution. These models are copyright their respective authors and are used in accordance with the MIT License.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Québec, Canada.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
